Relationship Therapy

Relationships are integral to our wellbeing. With them, we feel connected and life has more meaning. Without them, or burdened by dysfunctional ones, everything in our lives can feel overwhelming or lonely. Many of us fear that by sharing our relationship worries, we could be judged or burden those around us. So instead, we settle or push down our own needs and desires.

I will work with you to identify what roles you want certain relationships to play in your life, what boundaries might lead to improvements in your relationships, and how to foster deeper and more meaningful connections.

Working on relationships in individual therapy can look like…

  • Navigating dating burnout

  • Processing a breakup, divorce, or relationship loss

  • Setting boundaries with family members

  • Understanding your relationship patterns and attachment style

  • Expressing needs in friendships

  • Healing from relationship trauma or family of origin issues
